OMG! This is so true! Great post, Kat :-)

only aman

LOL - Thank you for sharing your really funny story Kat. I can't wait to get over to the UK with my family someday so that we can try having our own near death experiences... well you know, trying to drive on the opposite side of the road and stuff.

Hear that? Only Aman just said he's taking me to the UK! woohoo!!

(and he's totally doing all the driving.)

A Modern Mother

Too funny. Wait until you have to take the driving test!

Expat Mum

Oh, tut, tut. You didn't read my book did you? The first sentence in the Driving chapter cautions virgin American drivers from just "getting behind the wheel". You don't even want to know what I said about the driving test, but be afraid.....

repairable cars

the driving rules and techniques are very different in england,Here at Automotix there are many different ways to find a usable salvaged automobile, bargain used cars or just used vehicle parts.

Glenn Ballard

Oh, that was so funny! Its funny how people can't seem to be able to cope with roundabouts over here. I have my own Blog about driving in the uk, maybe check it out and recommend it to other "RHD" vigins, I will respond to any comments. Its at siverspur-ukdriving.blogspot.com its just a commentary about driving and how to improve

Driving in the UK is a whole different ball game. It can be quite fun watching what foreign drivers get up to - driving the wrong way round roundabouts, pulling out on red at traffic lights!

Hubby should check out the Theory test to find out more about UK driving.
