I've gotten used to the short store hours and most of the stores being closed on Sundays, but the out of stock experience still makes me a tiny bit crazy.
One plus to all this is: after living here for almost two years, I've learned a great deal about patience and learning to temper my instant gratification tendencies.
I forgot to say in my post yesterday that a few of the stores I went to have started either charging for their carrier bags or putting them behind the counters. Not a huge deal, but I still find it a bit weird to stroll out of a store with my merchandise sitting in plain view in my cart.
In general, I do bring along my own reusable bags. I just forgot this one time. But it does make me wonder if the stores will have more theft? I guess (hope) security is watching more closely.
